Job Description & Requirements

K&J Engineering Pte Ltd is a reputable plumbing and sanitary company registered with BCA, providing quality residential and commercial plumbing, sanitary, gas, fire protection systems, and A&A works for turnkey and temporary project facilities.

Job Summary

You will lead workplace safety and health efforts by assessing project risks, conducting inspections, managing incident investigations, and ensuring compliance with legal safety requirements to maintain a safe work environment.

Responsibilities

• Assess risk impact of project activities and issue Safety Stand Down to prevent hazards
• Communicate and coordinate with authorities, staff, clients, public, neighbours, and stakeholders on safety and health matters
• Conduct daily safety inspections and compile detailed reports and records to track compliance
• Perform regular inspections to ensure non-compliance issues are addressed with corrective actions supported by photographic evidence
• Investigate accidents and incidents, analyse causes, and recommend corrective actions to prevent recurrence
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of corrective actions implemented
• Ensure all incident reporting complies with legal and regulatory requirements
• Execute other safety-related duties as assigned by the Project Manager

Required competencies and certifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Workplace Safety & Health Officer (WSHO)
• Preferably registered as a Workplace Safety & Health Officer (WSHO) with the Ministry of Manpower (MOM), Singapore

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Experience working on Condominium/HDB projects
