Job Description

Full range of order processing duties, including inquiries, quotes, orders, and invoices
Process technical Orders and requisitions by comparing items requested to master list
Procure items at the best prices from the best sources and/or utilize existing stock in hand Co-ordinate with warehouse on stock requisitions and prepares orders
Monitor and co-ordinate deliveries of items between suppliers and forwarder to ensure that all items are delivered to vessels on time
Prepare essential export documents, such as packing lists and weight/volume calculations.
Posting of Delivery Orders for billing
Issuing of Goods Returned Notes for item rejected by customer, Resolves shipment error with suppliers
To board the vessel in case necessary
Maintain and expand dealers’ network and build strong customer relationships through excellent customer service
Perform additional duties as assigned on an ad-hoc basis

Requirements:

Relevant experience in the ship chandler industry preferred
Excellent Communication Skills
Ability to display analytical and problem-solving skills
Capable of working under continual time constraints
To work in a fast-paced environment, dynamic & motivated personality, able to work independently
