Youth Worker #Queenstown

Working hour

• Mondays to Thursdays: 7.30 am to 5.00 pm
• Fridays: 7:30 am to 4:30 pm

Key Roles

• Manage Tree House / Student Services Hub, ensuring safe and welcoming environment

• Build positive relationships with identified students

• Provide socio-emotional support during curriculum hours for students unable to integrate back to class

• Plan and conduct intervention programmes (academic support, mentoring, engagement)

• Observe, identify, document student needs and report to Student Development Team

• Provide feedback on student needs and programme experience

• Conduct termly review of engagement programme and recommend improvements

• Maintain professional conduct with students and school personnel

• Any other duties assigned

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counselling, Child Development, Youth Work or related disciplines

• Registered Social Worker or Social Work Practitioner with SASW

• At least 2 years' relevant experience
