Demand & Supply Manager (Jurong East)

This role oversees the strategic andoperational supply planning framework for the company’s multi-region business. Thisrole ensures seamless supply flow to support demand across Singapore, Malaysia,Indonesia, and China. The Manager bridges Category Management, Sales,Logistics, and overseas suppliers to establish robust planning processes, drivesupplier performance, and optimize regional inventory health.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Planning & TeamLeadership

• Regional Supply Strategy: Establish and optimize supply planning models, safety stock strategies, and replenishment policies across all active target markets (SG, MY, ID, CN).
• Team Management: Lead, mentor, and build the capability of the supply planning team. Set KPIs for order accuracy, on-time delivery (OTIF), and inventory turns.
• China & Regional Operations: Work directly with the China Supply Chain team to streamline supplier management, export readiness, and regional buffer stock planning.

Cross-Functional & S&OPAlignment

• Sales & Category Alignment: Serve as the primary supply chain partner to Sales and Category Management heads. Facilitate regular planning alignment meetings to review demand trends, product launches, and supply constraints.
• Inventory Optimization: Balance stock availability against working capital targets. Manage slow-moving, excess, and obsolete (SLOB) stock in coordination with Category teams.

Governance & Process Excellence

• End-to-End PO Governance: Oversee the end-to-end PO lifecycle, setting standards for order issuance, lead-time tracking, and document handoff to the import shipping team.
• Supplier Relationship & Escalations: Lead high-level escalations for critical stock-outs, major vendor delays, or capacity constraints. Establish vendor score carding and evaluation frameworks.
• Continuous Improvement: Drive ERP/MRP optimization, process automation, and standardized operating procedures across regional supply planning units.

Job Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Logistics, or Business.
• Experience: 6–8+ years of supply planning experience, with at least 2–3 years in a team leadership or managerial role managing large SKU portfolios (30k+ SKUs) and international supply networks.
• System Expertise: Advanced proficiency in ERP systems (EPB) and supply planning tools. Strong Excel skills (data modelling, forecasting) are essential.

• Demonstrated leadership with a track record of developing planning talent.
• High strategic thinking combined with strong operational execution capabilities.
• Outstanding stakeholder management and negotiation skills.
• Strong cross-cultural communication abilities; fluency in English and Mandarin is highly advantageous to manage regional teams and China supply base.
