Process Engineer, Mechanical

Responsibilities

• Design, calculate and optimize processes in the fields of ultrapure water and wastewater treatment
• Generate & review PFD’s, P&ID’s, material, quantity and energy balances, utility and consumable balances as well as technical data sheets for major equipment items
• Generate technical specifications for packaged units, process equipment
• Participate in design reviews and clarifications at the early stages of process and basic engineering works
• Participate in HAZOP and safety review or assessment
• Participate in training, commissioning and start-up activities
• Ad-hoc feasibility studies/task assignments
• To work within the Design team and to support project managers on all project activities
• Prepare documentation for submission and supporting project team on plant startup, performance test, optimization and hand-over.

Requirement

• Bachelor degree or higher in chemical / environmental / mechanical engineering
• Require minimum 3 years experience with good knowledge in process control, water and waste water treatment
• Applicants should be self-starters, able to work independently, and have passion for water/wastewater, chemical and/or environmental engineering
• Analytical thinking & problem-solving skills
• Proficient with MS Office
