SAP Support

As part of the Finance Support Team within the Singapore-based Global CoE, this role provides Level 2 functional support for Finance and Operations applications. While each analyst is assigned a primary focus area (for this role, Finance Core – FICO), all team members are expected to cross-support incoming tickets across the full Finance and Operations application scope. This ensures issues are resolved collectively as a team, while leveraging vendor partners for deeper SME expertise where required. The role contributes to incident, change, problem, and release management processes, ensuring Finance and Operations applications remain stable, compliant, and continuously improved.

PRIMARY FOCUS –FICO

· Support SAP S/4HANA Finance (FICO) modules, including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Asset Accounting (AA), and Controlling (CO).

· Ensure accurate financial postings, reconciliations, and reporting.

· Oversee integration touchpoints with other modules such as Sales & Distribution (billing to AR), Materials Management (MM), and Operations.

· Support financial close activities, ensuring system readiness and accuracy of finance data.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES

Details

· Provide Level 2 support for Finance and Operations applications through ITSM processes (incidents, service requests, changes, problems, releases).

· Manage enhancements and problem investigations, ensuring root cause resolution and permanent fixes.

· Review vendor deliverables, including functional designs, configurations, and fixes, to ensure alignment with Finance/Operation requirements and CoE standards.

· Manage UAT activities for Finance/Operation changes, including test case preparation, user coordination, and deployment validation.

· Collaborate with the Finance Support Lead, other analysts, regional CoEs, and vendors on upgrades, release testing, and cross-functional enhancements.

· Maintain accurate documentation, SOPs, test scripts, and knowledge-sharing artefacts for Finance support.

· Ensure compliance with governance, audit, and statutory requirements in all Finance system activities.

· Engage with Group Finance, entity Finance teams, Operation teams and auditors to align solutions and resolve issues.

· Participate in team training and cross-learning sessions to build redundancy and shared expertise.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITY

Min Years of Experience and knowledge

· Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in SAP Finance application support (S/4HANA).

· Primary knowledge in FICO modules (GL, AP, AR, AA, CO), with ability to cross-cover other Finance and Operations areas.

· Familiarity with ITSM processes (incident, problem, change, release management).

Min Education / Other Technical / Professional Qualification Level

· University degree in Computer Science, Information Management or equivalent.

· SAP Finance certifications preferred.

Skills and Abilities

· Good documentation, testing, and communication skills.
