Job Responsibilities
The Programme Manager, Partnerships & Engagement is responsible for developing, managing, and growing strategic partnerships that advance We Care’s mission, expand its community impact, and strengthen its sustainability.
The role will support corporate engagement, community collaborations and volunteer initiatives aligned with We Care’s addiction recovery and community resilience priorities.
This is a relationship-driven role requiring strong stakeholder management, business development, communications, and project management capabilities, together with a passion for community impact and social service.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Partnership Development
a) Identify,cultivate, and manage partnerships with:
- Corporationsand MNCs
- SMEs
- Foundations and philanthropic organizations
- Schools and Institutes of Higher Learning
- Healthcare providers
- Community organizations
- Government agencies and social service partners
b) Build long-term relationships that generate funding support, volunteer participation and in-kind contributions
c) Develop partnership proposals, sponsorship packages, Memoranda of Understanding (MOUs), and collaboration agreements that support We Care’s key service pillars:
- Addiction counselling and recovery support
- Family strengthening
- Community education and prevention
- Workplace wellness and addiction awareness
- Community recovery and reintegration
2. Corporate Engagement and ESG Initiatives
a) Design and implement corporate engagement programs aligned with:
- Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR)
- Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) goals
- Employee well-being and engagement initiatives
- Corporate fundraising campaigns
b) Serve as the primary liaison for corporate and institutional partners
c) Track and report partnership outcomes and ESG-related impact metrics
3. Support Donor and Corporate Volunteer Management
4. Communications and Impact Reporting
- Collaborate with communications and program teams to develop engaging materials for external relations
- Maintain accurate records of programme and engagement outcomes
- Prepare regular management reports for stakeholders.
EDUCATION
- Bachelor’s Degree in Community Development, Social Work, Business, Communications,Marketing, Public Relations, or a related field.
TECHNICALCOMPETENCIES
- Strong project management and organizational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Social Media content generation
- Negotiation skills, business intelligence
- Market and competitor analysis
- Tech savvy
WORK EXPERIENCE
a) Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in any of the following
- Partnership development
- Community relations / development
- CSR/ESG management
- Digital Content Management
- Fundraising / Development
- Donor and volunteer management
b) Demonstrated experience working with corporations, community organizations, or social service agencies in Singapore.
c) Prior experience in SocialServices sector is an advantage.
