About this job
Job Purpose:
The IT Executive is responsible for the maintenance, monitoring, and support of the organisation’s IT infrastructure. This role ensures the smooth operation of IT systems, including hardware, software, networks, and servers. The incumbent will coordinate with vendors, support internal users, and assist in implementing new IT systems and equipment to enhance operational efficiency.
Job Responsibilities:
1. Day-to-day troubleshooting of PCs, servers and network
2. Liaise with external vendors and service providers for IT maintenance, support, and upgrades.
3. Coordinating and implementing of new equipment / systems
4. Assist in the setup and configuration of IT equipment required for club events, meetings, and activities.
5. Maintenance of IT infrastructure including patching, updating, AV scanning, and backups
6. Maintenance of IT infrastructure including:
- Network – LAN, Wireless, VOIP etc
- Hardware – Club2000e and various modules, Active Directory, Terminal Server, WSUS, Firewall, VOIP, Mail, Web etc.
- Software –Operating Systems, Software Products, Software Licenses.
7. Provide technical advice and recommendations on IT-related equipment and solutions to internal departments.
8. Record and prepare meeting minutes for the IT Sub-Committee.
9. Conduct basic IT training and guidance for staff on systems and applications.
10. Any ad-hoc work as assigned by supervisor or the Management.
11) Others:
· Follow the workplace safety and health system, safe work procedures or safety rules implemented at the workplace.
· Not engage in any unsafe or negligent act that may endanger yourself or others working around you.
· Use personal protective equipment provided to you to ensure your safety while working. You must not tamper with or misuse the equipment.
Requirements
· Minimum Diploma
· Graduates with no working experience are welcome to apply
· Knowledge of best practices in IT administration and system security
· Good interpersonal and communications skills
· Ability to listen and active problem-solving skills
· Ability to identify issues, recommend and implement strategies to resolve problems and manage issues effectively
