Job Summary

Lead and manage cafe operations to deliver excellent service and product quality. Plan manpower and schedules aligned with budget targets. Drive team performance and guest satisfaction in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Senior Management to oversee and optimize cafe operations for efficiency and quality
• Plan and deploy rosters and manpower to meet operational demands and budgeted labor targets
• Monitor staff performance and enforce discipline to maintain high service standards
• Conduct on-the-job training to enhance staff knowledge of service excellence and product quality
• Foster a passionate and caring service culture among team members
• Ensure all team members understand the setup and workflow of all operational areas
• Provide operational support across cashiering, stock management, guest service, kitchen storage, and store reporting
• Prepare weekly schedules based on budgeted sales and labor targets to optimize resource allocation
• Anticipate peak business periods and implement procedures to manage extended waiting lines effectively
• Monitor guest reactions and collaborate with service staff and baristas to ensure guest satisfaction
• Respond promptly and professionally to guest comments, requests, and complaints, taking personal responsibility to resolve issues
• Maintain stock levels and availability by replenishing displays and fridges according to company guidelines and planograms
• Rotate stock to comply with company health and safety standards
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management

Required competencies and certifications

• Minimum 2-5 years of F&B management experience
• Ability to lead and manage team members effectively
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
• Availability to work weekends and public holidays
• Commitment to 6 workdays per week

Preferred competencies and qualifications

WSQ Diploma
