Accountant

A vacancy currently exists for Accountant role within the Finance Department in our Singapore office. Reporting to Finance manager.

The responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Preparation of full month end accounting entries; month end Journals, recharges, accruals, prepayments etc.
• Preparation of Profit and Loss statements and analysis of monthly budget vs actual
• Preparation of balance sheet reconciliations
• Preparation of quarterly GST returns
• Transfer vendor invoices to NetSuite
• Assist the Senior accountant in raising invoices to clients when needed
• Assist during Audit
• Assist during budget time in compiling information for budget
• Assist in preparation of annual income tax returns
• Assist in survey (mandatory) by the Department of Statistics Singapore

The successful applicant will have the following skills & experience:

• Relevant tertiary qualification, CPA/CA part/fully Qualified.
• At least 5 years of experience as an accountant
• High level of attention to detail, analytical ability, and proven technical accounting skills
• Intermediate to Advanced Excel skills
• Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
• Excellent communication and inter-personnel skills

Desirable Skills and requirements:

• Previous experience in Oil and Gas sector
• Experience with NetSuite accounting software
