Contract Market Conduct Compliance Analyst (Bank), up to $4500

Job Descriptions:

You will be part of the team that is responsible for ensuring regulatory compliance of the consumer banking business, covering areas such as market conduct risk management and cross-border compliance matters.

• Assisting with the assessment of CMFAS exemptions and fit-and-proper assessments for the recruitment of sales staff.
• Assisting with the internal stakeholder disseminations and compliance with regulatory updates.
• Preparing for and executing the annual recertification exercise for 2027.
• Assisting with the biennial reviews for country-specific cross-border marketing guidelines
• Contributing to projects for process enhancement and framework clarity.
• Contributing to risk-related projects, initiatives, and continuous improvement activities as required.

Period: 1 year contract

Location: Raffles Place, with relocation to Punggol in Apr - May 2027

Working Hours: 9am to 6pm, Monday to Friday

Salary: up to $4500

Job Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree holder with an interest in developing a career in risk management, compliance, or related disciplines.
• Experience in banking, financial services, risk management, audit, compliance, or operational risk would be advantageous.
• Good understanding of risk management principles and governance practices.
• Knowledge of consumer banking products, processes, and regulatory requirements would be advantageous.
• Able to work independently to analyse information, identify risks, and support the development of practical solutions.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organisational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing business needs.
• High level of professionalism, integrity, and accountability.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgement.
