Program Engineer (Plastics Molding/Mfg/West)

• Assist Business Development Team in managing program-related issues and correspondences. Monitor and track progress on program activities.
• Coordinate and work with tool and assembly equipment suppliers to ensure smooth program launches.
• Design workflows and optimize production layouts in collaboration with the production department to improve machine efficiency.
• Source and gather tooling and component quotations from suppliers for initial project startups.
• Work on new quotations and packaging requirements for new parts.
• Support production and quality departments in troubleshooting processing and quality issues related to plastic parts.
• Provide timely customer support and respond to customer inquiries.
• Update all tooling activities, bills of materials, and project review records
• Coordinate all mold trial activities. Prepare periodic tool-life reports for customers.
• Design and collaborate with suppliers on jigs and fixtures required for secondary processes.

Requirements:

• Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering
• 1 - 3 years relevant experience and preference to those with experiences in managing healthcare/medical products.
• Good knowledge of project management and production process. Knowledge of plastics molding or toolings will be advantageous
• Good knowledge of project management & production process
• IT Skills (MS Office)
• Good communication, organizational and planning abilities
• Independent, good initiative and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• Office: Joo Koon/Pioneer | Mon – Fri (8:30am to 5:45pm)
• Monthly salary x 13 +Variable Bonus. Monthly salary will commensurate according to experiences
