CFO (FMCG)

Our client is a well-established, fast-growing FMCG group with operations spanning multiple markets across APAC. As the business continues to expand regionally, they are seeking an experienced and commercially driven CFOto lead the regional finance function and act as a key member of the senior leadership team.

Working closely with the CEO and country leaders, the CFO will strengthen financial governance, improve profitability, and support strategic business decisions across the group's regional operations.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the Group's financial strategy, planning and governance
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, cash flow and financial reporting
• Drive profitability, cost optimisation and working-capital management
• Provide commercial insights to support business growth and investment decisions
• Consolidate and review financial performance across APAC markets
• Strengthen financial controls, policies, processes and risk management
• Ensure compliance with accounting, audit, tax and statutory requirements
• Partner with Commercial, Supply Chain, HR, Legal and country leadership teams
• Lead, develop and strengthen regional and country finance teams
• Support business expansion, restructuring, banking and corporate finance matters

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or a related discipline
• Professional qualification such as ACCA, CPA, CA or equivalent
• At least 12–15 years of progressive finance experience, including senior leadership responsibilities
• Regional finance experience across multiple APAC markets
• Strong FMCG, retail, consumer goods or distribution experience strongly preferred
• Solid grounding in financial planning, commercial finance, taxation, audit and governance
• Proven ability to manage P&L, cash flow and complex regional operations
• Strategic and hands-on, comfortable in a fast-growing environment
• Strong leadership, stakeholder-management and communication skills
