Project Manager (Traffic Management)

The Project Manager will oversee the end-to-end delivery of Traffic Management System. This includes planning, execution, stakeholder coordination, system integration, testing, and commissioning. The role requires close collaboration with customer representatives, internal engineering teams, and subcontractors to ensure timely and compliant project delivery.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the overall management and coordination of the project
- Lead end-to-end project delivery, ensuring alignment with contract requirements, timelines, and compliance standards
- Coordinate across internal teams, external stakeholders, and other third-party vendors
- Oversee project planning and execution, including budgeting, hiring, partner sourcing, and management of vendors and contractors
- Manage project scope, schedules, resources, risk, and quality control activities
- Ensure robust documentation, change management, and configuration control throughout the project lifecycle
- Lead progress reporting, stakeholder communication, and governance reviews
- Drive issue resolution and proactively mitigate risks across technical and operational domains
- Ensure compliance with relevant standards (e.g., Company standards, Contract specifications, cybersecurity requirements, operational safety standards)
- Accountable for smooth planning, execution & timely delivery of projects and on all project aspects of design, development, delivery, installation, integration testing, implementation and maintenance
Qualifications:
- Possess strong project management and leadership abilities, good communication skills and excellent problem-solving skills
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline
- Project Management Professional Certification
- Minimum 8 years of experience in project management in large scale systems projects
- Proven experience delivering complex, multi-stakeholder systems integration projects
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Sound understanding of technical documentation and systems architecture
- Have managed at least one implementation using Agile project management methodology.
- Have gone through at least one complete SDLC cycle in a large-scale system development.
- Good problem-solving skills with attention to technical and contractual details.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
Desirable Attributes:
- Background in managing vendor contracts and subcontractor coordination
- Familiarity with cybersecurity requirements for critical infrastructure systems
- Experience in coordinating teams from multiple locations/ countries for project delivery
- Experience in delivering traffic/ tunnel management systems
- Understanding of software systems lifecycle, including design, development, integration, testing, and commissioning
