About this job

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

Develops, evaluates, and improves assembly and testing techniques, procedures, and workflow to enhance the efficiency of the productions department.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Read and understand Engineering Drawing, APIs and ISOs.

2. Clean, perform layout, take down the traceability, assemble/disassemble the equipment and test per standards.

3. Set-up, operate and maintain machinery, lifting gears and other related equipment in the workshop.

4. Able to understand test equipment and to perform test accordingly.

5. Able to write and maintain assembly map, records traceability in traceability form prior to assemble and sign off accordingly after completion of work.

6. Inspect and maintain all tools required for the job.

7. Doproper housekeeping in work areas and do 5S inspection according to schedule.

8. Should be able to work in a team and work in a shift.

9. Should be able to follow instructions from Charge-hand and cooperate with engineers.

10. Should be able to visualize and work with engineers to make all kinds of future arrangements required for testing.

11. Must clock-in labor hours and properly filled up sheet.

12. Highlight or issue NCR for non-conformance found or discrepancy in the process.

13. Participate in improvement project and implementing in lean manufacturing.

14. Adheres company’s guidelines with regards to Safety and Quality.

15. Complies to Company Code of Business Conduct.

16. Promote and participate in company-wide or departmental programs such as:

· Total Quality Management, Lean Manufacturing

· Social Activities

REQUIRED COMPETENCIES

1. minimum training required specified in Employee Qualification and OJT Form No. S 1-026F.

2. Equipment parts assembling and testing.

3. Performing test.

4. Inspect and maintain tools.

5. Project improvement.

6. Ensures Accountability –holding self and others accountable to meet commitments.

QUALIFICATION GUIDE

1. Education : Minimum Diploma or Certificate from Vocational/Tech/Eng School of Studies

2. Communication : Able to read, converse and interpret in English

3. Experience : Minimum 3-5 years experiences in same Manufacturing Industries.

4. Working Condition : Able to work on rotating shifts (8am-8pm – 1st shift & 8pm-8am – 2nd shift)

Able to work in a non air conditioned machine shop
