Assistant Logistics Operations Manager

Job Summary

NHM Logistics Pte. Ltd. is seeking an Assistant Logistics Operations Manager to support daily courier, delivery and transport operations, including driver coordination, route planning, delivery monitoring and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Support daily parcel, cargo, and point-to-point delivery operations to ensure timely and accurate shipments
• Coordinate driver schedules, delivery assignments, and vehicle allocation to optimize resource use and meet delivery targets
• Assist with route planning and delivery optimization to improve efficiency and reduce transit times
• Monitor delivery progress and proactively follow up on delays or incomplete jobs to maintain service quality
• Coordinate warehouse pickups and commercial cargo movements to ensure smooth logistics flow
• Communicate delivery instructions and customer requirements clearly to drivers to ensure compliance and customer satisfaction
• Handle customer delivery updates and respond to routine operational enquiries to maintain effective communication
• Verify proof-of-delivery records and delivery documentation for accuracy and completeness
• Maintain daily operational reports and delivery records to support performance tracking and decision-making
• Monitor vehicle utilization, mileage, and basic operating records to support fleet management
• Assist in resolving delivery and transport issues promptly to minimize disruptions
• Support process improvements and service-quality initiatives to enhance operational effectiveness
• Take responsibility for daily operations in the absence of the Logistics Operations Manager to ensure continuity

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Experience coordinating drivers, routes, or delivery schedules
• Valid Singapore Class 3/3A driving licence
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, spreadsheets, navigation tools, and delivery applications

Required competencies and certifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Logistics, Supply Chain, Operations Management, Transport Management, Business, or related field
• Minimum 2–3 years relevant experience in logistics, transport, courier, or delivery operations
• Good planning, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to handle multiple delivery jobs and priorities
