R&D Design Engineer (Medical Devices Manufacturing) / East

Our client is one of the leading players in the medical devices manufacturing sector. Due to their current expansion plan, they are looking for a R&D Design Engineer to join their team, in hopes of developing the current high performing team. They are located in the East area.

Job Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and improve products based on project requirements.
• Support product development from concept, prototyping, testing, through to production.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support new product introduction (NPI) and engineering projects.
• Conduct prototype evaluation, testing, and design verification activities.
• Perform engineering analysis and recommend design improvements for quality and manufacturability.
• Troubleshoot design-related issues and provide technical support during product development.
• Ensure designs comply with engineering standards and customer requirements.
• Prepare and maintain engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.
• Participate in continuous improvement and engineering enhancement initiatives.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Min Diploma or Degree in Mechanical/Manufacturing, or a related Engineering discipline.
• Min 2 years of experience in product design, product development, R&D, or engineering design within a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in 3D CAD software such as CREO, SolidWorks, or equivalent.
• Familiarity with engineering drawings, technical standards, and product documentation.
• Able to work independently as well as collaboratively in a cross-functional team.
