M&E Engineer

Job Description

1. Provide mechanical engineering support for PPVC projects, covering planning, design coordination, installation, testing, and commissioning.
2. Coordinate the integration of mechanical services within PPVC modules with architectural, structural, electrical, and other building services.
3. Review mechanical drawings, specifications, shop drawings, method statements, and technical submissions for compliance with project requirements and regulations.
4. Coordinate with consultants, contractors, suppliers, and site teams to resolve technical issues and ensure proper execution of mechanical works.
5. Monitor fabrication, delivery, installation, inspection, testing, and commissioning of mechanical systems and PPVC components.
6. Conduct site inspections and ensure compliance with approved designs, quality standards, and Workplace Safety and Health requirements.
7. Provide technical solutions and recommend improvements to construction methods, productivity, quality, and cost efficiency.
8. Assist with material selection, technical evaluation, procurement coordination, and project documentation.
9. Monitor project progress, identify potential delays, and provide technical updates to the Project Manager.
10. Perform other engineering and project-related duties as assigned to support the successful and timely completion of PPVC projects.

Job Requirements

1. Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
2. Relevant experience in PPVC construction and integration of mechanical services is required.
3. Strong knowledge of mechanical building services, PPVC module integration, installation, testing, and commissioning processes.
4. Experience in reviewing mechanical drawings, specifications, shop drawings, and technical submissions.
5. Ability to coordinate effectively with consultants, contractors, suppliers, subcontractors, and multidisciplinary project teams.
6. Strong technical, analytical, planning, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
