Senior Consultant / Principal, Space and Digital Infrastructure
About this job
About the role
In recent years, in addition to our existing consulting services such as Business & Strategy, M&A Advisory and HR related advisory, we have seen a sharp increase in enquiries/engagement about post-acquisition integration and the restructuring of existing group companies, particularly in the aerospace, data center, and infocomm technology industries.
We are hiring a specialist with experience in commercial satellite operations (satellite orbit calculation), advanced micro/containerized data centers for ground stations in the space industry, and M&A practice in these industries.
Job Description
- Strategy consulting and execution support for multinational enterprises (MNEs) in the aerospace sector, and for unicorn startups backed by well-known investors. This includes understanding the client's business model and workflows, analyzing the figures in their financial statements, and advising on how to correct and improve launch control work, satellite orbit calculation, and software engineering, based on on-site interviews. Because the work ranges from a niche area such as orbit calculation to company-wide strategy, you will coordinate and discuss with many different stakeholders on the client side.
- Leading advanced infrastructure and large-scale projects as a consultant for MNEs in the telecommunications industry, covering micro/containerized data centers, infrastructure, and space industry ground stations. Projects are located not only in Singapore but also in Southeast Asia, South Asia, Central Asia, and Africa. At times you will be required to stay in these countries for several months, or even years, to assess data center feasibility or supervise construction.
- Core member of post-merger integration (PMI) for companies acquired by listed IT firms. The scope is broad, ranging from strategic areas such as corporate culture integration and synergy creation, to management reporting, business planning, marketing, hiring plans, personal data protection compliance, bookkeeping, and tax filing. Immediately after an acquisition, you will be expected to execute and complete the Day 100 plan, which often decides whether the PMI succeeds. Among many tasks, you will decide what can be completed within 100 days, what to prioritize and what to drop, manage team members, and coordinate between the buyer's and seller's management, all with the same perspective and speed as the executives of a listed company or a founder-owner.

- Minimum 3 years as Person-In-Charge / Primary Point of Contact for M&A PMI work at a well-known consulting firm (required). This may be substituted by at least 3 years of experience as CEO, CFO, or CTO at an operating company.
- Able to travel outside Singapore on short business trips
- Able to be posted outside Singapore for the medium (1 year) to long term (up to 5 years), depending on client requests and project progress, as agreed with the employer
