L2 English Preschool Teacher

We are a preschool in Bishan seeking a dedicated and qualified L2 English Preschool Teacher to join our team.

The successful candidate will play an important role in providing a nurturing, engaging and developmentally appropriate learning environment for young children, while working closely with fellow educators, centre leaders and families.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and conduct age-appropriate lessons and learning experiences in accordance with the centre’s curriculum and educational philosophy
• Create a safe, nurturing and stimulating classroom environment that supports children’s holistic development
• Facilitate children’s learning through purposeful play, inquiry and exploration
• Observe, assess and document children’s learning and developmental progress
• Build positive and professional relationships with children and their families
• Communicate regularly with parents on their child’s progress and well-being
• Collaborate effectively with fellow educators and centre management
• Participate in centre events, celebrations, excursions and other school activities
• Maintain high standards of classroom organisation, safety, hygiene and care
• Support the centre in upholding relevant regulatory and operational requirements

Requirements

• ECDA-certified L2 English Teacher
• Relevant Early Childhood qualification recognised by ECDA
• Strong command of spoken and written English
• Genuine passion for early childhood education
• Warm, patient and nurturing disposition
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Responsible, organised and able to work effectively as part of a team
• Committed to professional growth and building a long-term career within the early childhood sector
