Kitchen Aide

Job Duties:

• Assist Nutrition& Food Science teachers in food preparation, storage of food and generalkitchen maintenance including mopping of floors for all classes and stockcheck.

• Assist incollation of food orders and liaise with the suppliers e.g., faxing or ordersmade by teachers.

• Assist in thechecking of food delivery, proportioning of ingredients for cooking lessons andstock of food supply.

• Assist teachersduring cooking lessons and clean up after lessons.

• Maintain kitchensafety and equipment.

· Assist in maintaining cleanliness of everyroom in the department.

• To do general cleaning e.g., washing ofaprons, kitchen towels, etc. and maintenance of kitchen and NFS Hub includingmopping of kitchen floors regularly.

• To do stocktake, thorough cleaning of foodlabs utensils, equipment, and cabinets during school holidays periods.

Qualification, Skill &Experience

a) preferably at least 1 year of working experience inSchools;

b) preferably with similar and Inventory experienceworking in Nutrition and Food Science laboratory;

c) shall possess a valid Workforce SkillsQualification (WSQ) Food Safety Course Level 1 (formerly known as Basic FoodHygiene Course) conducted by a Skills Future Singapore (SSG) approved trainingprovider; and

d) submit the Certificate of Attainment to the School prior to the date of work commencement
