Job Summary

The Project Engineer (Geotechnical) will coordinate site activities, ensure technical compliance, and support project delivery from planning through execution across multiple geotechnical projects.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, executing, and monitoring geotechnical works to ensure timely and compliant project progress
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and internal teams to resolve issues and maintain smooth project workflows
• Prepare detailed technical reports, method statements, and documentation to secure project approvals and maintain records
• Conduct site inspections and supervise geotechnical activities to enforce safety standards and quality control
• Support instrumentation monitoring by collecting, interpreting, and reporting data to inform engineering decisions
• Manage project schedules, allocate resources effectively, and track deliverables to meet project milestones
• Develop and implement engineering solutions to address site challenges and optimize construction processes

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, or related field
• 1–3 years of relevant experience in geotechnical engineering or construction projects (fresh graduates may apply)
• Strong understanding of geotechnical principles, soil mechanics, and construction processes
• Proficient communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills to manage multiple tasks independently
• Knowledge of local codes, safety regulations, and project documentation requirements
