ENGINEER

Job Description

We are looking for a motivated and technically competent Engineer to join our team at UCHEM TECHNOLOGIES PTE LTD.

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting engineering projects, technical operations, equipment performance and process improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, coordinate and execute engineering projects and technical activities.
• Support installation, testing, commissioning and maintenance of equipment and systems.
• Perform troubleshooting and root-cause analysis for technical issues.
• Monitor equipment and system performance and recommend improvements.
• Prepare technical reports, documentation and project records.
• Work closely with internal teams, suppliers, contractors and customers.
• Ensure engineering work complies with company standards, safety requirements and relevant regulations.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to improve productivity, quality and operational efficiency.
• Perform any other engineering duties assigned by the management.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
• Candidates with relevant engineering experience are preferred.
• Good technical, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Able to read and understand technical drawings, specifications and documentation.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work independently as well as in a team.
• Willing to learn and take on new technical responsibilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and relevant engineering software/tools will be an advantage.
