Mondays to Thursdays: 8.30am to 6pm, Fridays: 8.30am to 5.30pm
Salary Budget: $4238 per month
Brief background:
We embarks on a data collection and analysis exercise annually. The data collection process requires numerous emails and calls with community care organisations to guide them in submitting their returns. The data also requires cleaning and analysis once collected. The entire process from the call for data collection, to the analysis of data can require tedious phone calls, emails and data churning, which is time-consuming. Care settings such as Active age centres are also not on the online platform, and their data has to be collected manually.
Furthermore, the division often reply on our online management system to inform our policies. There will be adhoc requests for data analyses, which would be best served by a dedicated data officer. We are also working with IT divisions to update the data collection platform, and will need to provide our pain points, use cases, and updated data requirements to them.
In addition, we staffs a number of meetings with internal and external stakeholders, and we will require manpower to help arrange meetings with them.
Job scope:
* Data collection, data cleaning, and the management of data arising from the system database;
* Preparation of annual local-foreign and attrition analyses;
* Review of system module and SOPs to improve in data collection; work with IT and HF teams to develop new manpower data module on SuSy platform;
* Assist in ad-hoc data requests and analysis;
* Assist in other administrative tasks for the team, including setting up of meetings
Requirements:
* Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel (e.g. PivotTables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, data validation, filtering, reconciliation and data manipulation), as well as Word, PowerPoint and Outlook.
* Comfortable engaging and coordinating with external stakeholders, including healthcare and community care providers, to facilitate timely and accurate submission of data returns.
* Comfortable working with large datasets and applying systematic quality checks, including data standardisation, mapping, validation and exception handling.
* Able to manage multiple workstreams and deadlines concurrently, including tracking submissions, following up with stakeholders, and coordinating data verification exercises.
* Possesses a strong sense of ownership and perseverance in resolving data issues, including extensive follow-up with stakeholders and iterative data verification and cleaning processes.
* Able to analyse and synthesise data into meaningful insights, charts and presentations to support policy development, operational planning and management reporting.
