About this job
We are seeking an Accountant and the successful candidate will take charge of all aspects of financial accounting, statutory reporting, tax reporting and administrativematters for a portfolio of clients as well as handle private trustees’ work.
Job Responsibilities
Job responsibilitiesinclude, but are not limited to:
- Manage and allocated portfolio of clients to provide high quality and professional services and maintain excellent relationships with clients;
- Preparation of Management Accounts for a portfolio of clients for SG, HKG, Belize, BVI Jurisdictions;
- Handle GST filing, payroll and CPF submissions;
- Preparation of financial statements (Unaudited) and XBRL reports;
- Liaise with auditors, regulators, outsourced accounting firm where required;
- Review work produced by other team members, monitoring and training staff;
- Lead and manage an engagement effectively and efficiently, with minimum supervision;
- Prepare tax computations;
- Prepare income tax compliance work and basic tax advisory for portfolio of clients including individuals and SMEs;
- Managing engagements including work planning, scheduling, budgeting, associated analysis and documentation;
- In charge of billings, fee negotiations of each client engagement;
- Review and revise client service fee on an annual basis;
- Ensure compliance to SOPs and regulatory updates; and
- Undertake and oversee other ad-hoc projects or duties as may be required from time to time.
Job Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of relevant work experiences, preferably in an outsourcing environment;
- RequiredAccountancy Degree from reputable university, professional certification willbe a plus (i.e. CA, ACCA, CPA, etc);
- Ability to handle full sets of accounts;
- Extensive and in-depth knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards, CPF, GSTand relevant tax rules, procedures and guidelines;
- Strong and extensive experience in doing Consolidation using Excel and preparing year-end draft statutory financial statements with notes to the accounts;
- Strong spreadsheet skills (Excel essential) and good knowledge of Word, Accounting software (QB & XERO);
- Possesses good analytical skills andattention to details, responsible and able to work under tight deadlines;
- In depth knowledge of Company Secretarial regulations;
- Must be hardworking, responsible, reliable, resourceful and possess leadership qualities; and
- Preferably someone who has managed overseas staff.
