Project Manager

About the role

The Project Manager is a key member of the Business Planning & Performance team at dnata Singapore. This role is responsible for driving operational turnaround, project delivery, process improvement, and performance optimization across Ground Handling operations. Working closely with senior leadership, Heads of Department, and cross-functional teams, the incumbent will drive projects and initiatives to address operational challenges, and support data-driven decision-making to deliver measurable operational and financial outcomes. The role serves as a hands-on business partner to operational leaders, helping to embed Lean methodologies, strengthen project execution, optimize workforce planning, and deliver sustainable operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with operational leaders to identify and deliver business process improvement priorities

• Lead process improvement and business turnaround initiatives that enhance productivity, service quality, safety, customer experience, and cost efficiency

• Apply Lean, Six Sigma, TQM, and continuous improvement methodologies

• Analyse operational processes and identify inefficiencies, root cause, and translate data into operational insights for actionable plans

• Lead and manage cross-functional projects to support operational transformation, systems implementation, workforce optimisation, and process redesign

• Develop project plans from initiation through implementation managing scope, timelines, resources and deliverables

• Establish governance structures, proactively managing risks, issues, dependencies and competing priorities

• Develop business cases, manage project budgets and forecasts and monitor delivery of targeted operational and financial benefits

• Collaborate with Operations, Finance, HR, Safety, and other stakeholders to deliver business improvement initiatives

• Drive change management initiatives and support teams through change and new ways of working

About you

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations Management, Engineering, Aviation Management, Logistics, or a related discipline

• Minimum 5 years' experience in business planning, performance management, project management, operational excellence, process improvement, business transformation, or a related field

• Professional certifications in Project Management, Process Improvement, or Change Management are highly advantageous, including PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent; Agile / Certified Scrum Master (CSM); Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt; TQM or Operational Excellence certifications

• Experience in aviation, airport operations, ground handling, logistics, or transportation industries is advantageous

• Proven experience leading operational improvement, change management, or transformation initiatives with measurable business impact

• Demonstrated success managing cross-functional projects and driving operational and financial improvements

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data interpretation capabilities

• Proficiency in project management software, Power BI, Excel, and performance reporting tools

• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, facilitation, and presentation skills

• Ability to obtain security clearance for an airside security pass
