Sales Executive

Job Description

• Execute procurement and sales of cement/slag/supplementary cementitious materials.
• Execute shipping charter party agreements.
• Execute delivery of cargo, including the preparation of shipping documents/internal application/contract/payment.
• To research and report about the latest ESG market and technology.
• To support the section manager by reviewing and monitoring the section's performance and preparing necessary documents to present/report to the company.

Job Requirements

• Extensive experience in cement, slag, supplementary cementitious materials (SCMs), ESG-related materials, and physical commodity trading, including Letter of Credit (L/C) transactions, with deep knowledge of the Japanese and Asian cement, steel, shipping, and related industries.
• Proven experience in bulk vessel chartering and operations, supported by a strong understanding of shipping markets, industry practices, and operational requirements.
• Excellent business communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders in Japanese (JLPT N1 level or equivalent preferred). Proven experience communicating clearly and professionally with Japanese stakeholders in both written and verbal forms.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making capabilities, with a demonstrated track record of resolving complex business challenges and driving high performance in a multicultural environment.
• Solid knowledge of finance, accounting, and legal matters, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint). Flexibility to undertake frequent international business travel and adaptability to new and challenging environments are essential.
