Weare currently looking for an experienced Aircraft Wheel & Brake Certifying Staff to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a key role in our maintenance operations, ensuring that aircraft wheel and brake components are maintained, inspected and certified in accordance with approved maintenance data, company procedures and applicable aviation regulations.
The opportunity
Working from our base in Singapore, you will be part of our Wheels and Brakes Maintenance Repair Overhaul (MRO) team, responsible for ensuring that products processed through the facility meet the required standards of airworthiness, quality and safety. As one of the largest Wheel and Brakes Part 145 MRO facility with multiple Aviation Authorities approvals, we provide an international working environment with opportunities to develop your technical and certification expertise.
The primary tasks will include, not limited to:
• Review and interpret Component Maintenance Manuals (CMMs), Engineering Orders, Work Instructions, Operating Procedures and applicable regulatory requirements.
• Perform and certify aircraft wheel and brake maintenance, inspection, repair and overhaul activities in accordance with approved maintenance data, CMMs and company procedures.
• Verify and inspect completed maintenance work to ensure all required processes, inspections and testing have been properly carried out and meet airworthiness standards.
• Issue maintenance certification and release documentation within the scope of the individual’s authorization.
• Review and ensure accuracy of maintenance records, work cards, process paperwork, parts traceability and other required documentation.
• Identify, troubleshoot and resolve technical discrepancies and non-conformities, exercising sound technical judgement within approved data and procedures.
• Guide and support technicians in the correct execution of maintenance tasks, including ensuring adherence to safety, quality and approved maintenance procedures.
• Maintain compliance with Part-145 requirements, company procedures and applicable Aviation Authority regulations, while supporting continuous improvement in safety, quality and operational efficiency.
Qualifications:
We are seeking an Aircraft Wheel & Brake Certifying Staff who is aligned with the description below:
· Diploma in Aerospace, Aviation Maintenance, Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
· Relevant aircraft maintenance licence/certification and Certifying Staff authorisation (C14) from CAAS.
· Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience in aircraft component maintenance, preferably in aircraft wheels& brakes.
· Previous experience in Part-145 MRO environment will be an advantage.
· Strong knowledge and experience in interpreting and applying CMMs and approved maintenance data.
· Completed Human Factors & Safety Management System (SMS) training.
· Knowledge of applicable aviation regulations and maintenance standards.
Skills and Attributes:
· Strong technical knowledge of aircraft wheel and brake maintenance, inspection and overhaul.
· Competent in certification, inspection and release-to-service processes within the scope of authorization.
· Good understanding of Part-145 requirements, aviation regulations, safety procedures and approved maintenance practices.
· Strong technical judgement, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
· Meticulous with a strong commitment to quality, accuracy, safety and airworthiness.
· Good communication skills with the ability to guide, support and work effectively with technicians and team members.
· Proactive, responsible, and able to work independently and under pressure while maintaining high professional standards.
