Director of Sales

The incumbent will lead the hotel's sales strategy and drive revenue growth through rooms and catering sales. This key leadership role is responsible for expanding corporate, leisure, MICE, and group business, building strong client relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and delivering sustainable commercial success.

What you'll be doing

• Developing and implementing the hotel's commercial strategy to optimise revenue and profitability.
• Overseeing the room sales department and to ensure the hotel meets its commercial objectives.
• Drive corporate, leisure, MICE, and group sales strategies.
• Analyse market trends and competitor activity to identify opportunities for growth.
• Collaborating with departments to create and execute integrated marketing campaigns.
• Monitoring and reporting on key performance indicators to measure the success of the commercial strategy.
• Providing strategic guidance and leadership to the commercial team to drive continuous improvement.

What we're looking for

• At least 3 years of relevant experience in similar capacity
• Proven track record of developing and implementing successful strategies to drive revenue and profitability.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate effectively.
• Led and motivated the sales team to achieve business goal.
