IT ENGINEER

Responsibilities:

• Install, configure and deployment of computer hardware and software.
• Troubleshoot computer system and network problem, diagnose and resolve hardware and software fault.
• Administration of Endpoint detection and response, E-mail system, Backup system, Windows and Linux infrastructure.
• Administration and maintenance of TCP/IP network.
• Monitor and perform daily system operation, administration and maintenance of computer and network system.
• Administration and maintenance of biometric access system.
• Deploy, manage and troubleshoot user workstation and computer equipment.
• Support user computing, application and software and provides user training.
• Assists on external IT audit and performs internal IT audit.
• Create and maintain relevant documentation.
• Works with systems provider on IT projects and implementation.
• Undertaking duties/assignments as and when assigned by superior.

Requirements:

• Diploma/Degree in Information Technology or computer related field
• Over 3 years relevant experience.
• Competent in TCP/IP, DHCP, NAT, DNS, VLAN, Subnet, security and relevant protocols, hardware system, Ethernet cabling and networking infrastructure.
• Good knowledge of Windows and Linux system.
• Proficient in Windows 10, Windows 11, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Proper knowledge of VPN, Router, Security device, Ethernet switch, LAN controller and able to configure and deploy them.
• Preferred CCNA certification.
• Good knowledge of data and system back-up.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills (both oral and written) with good helpdesk or desktop support skill.
• Able to work independently and under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Mon-Fri 8.00-5.25pm, Sat 8.00-12 noon (Alternate Saturday Off)
