Job Summary

Join MTN as a Halal Production Operator to upscale and produce Jiro Meat, maintain halal certification, and ensure smooth operation of machinery and production areas at our on-site plant and lab.

Responsibilities

• Scale up Jiro Meat production from laboratory experiments to pilot runs and full commercial manufacturing to meet quality and volume targets
• Operate production equipment to manufacture Jiro Meat consistently according to established recipes and standards
• Support the application process and ongoing compliance for halal certification and other relevant accreditations by preparing documentation and following required protocols
• Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of machinery and production areas to ensure operational efficiency and safety
• Collaborate with team members to maintain a clean, organized, and compliant production environment

Required competencies and certifications

• NITEC / Higher Nitec qualification in Food Science & Technology, Food Science & Nutrition, or a related field
• Halal Competency Assessment (applicants without prior certification must complete this assessment)

Other Information

• This is a full-time, on-site role based at 12 Jalan Besut with a 5-day work week
• Shuttle bus service provided to and from Lakeside MRT
