Shopify Website & E-Commerce Lead

Job Summary

This role requires independent ownership and execution of redesigning and rebuilding a Shopify website to a premium fashion e-commerce standard, managing product launches on marketplaces such as shoppe lazada, and optimizing digital marketing and analytics over a three-month engagement.

Responsibilities

• Redesign and rebuild the Shopify website to meet contemporary fashion and e-commerce standards and highly conversion optimised
• Own the entire website journey including UX/UI, navigation, collections, product pages, merchandising, mobile experience, conversion optimization, apps, and integrations
• Apply the latest Shopify features, AI tools, automation, and e-commerce technologies to enhance customer experience and operational efficiency
• Set up and launch products on marketplaces such as Shopee and Lazada
• Set up and launch TikTok Shop, including catalogue and commerce integrations
• Manage Meta Ads Manager by configuring accounts, pixels, catalogues, campaign structures, audience targeting, retargeting, testing, and ongoing optimization
• Implement analytics, tracking, and reporting systems to monitor traffic, conversion rates, ROAS, and customer behavior
• Proactively identify opportunities and recommend solutions without requiring step-by-step instructions
• Develop systems and documentation to enable efficient management of the digital ecosystem after the project concludes
• Communicate effectively and collaborate closely with the founder while driving independent execution

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Proven hands-on experience creating or significantly transforming Shopify websites
• Experience designing high-quality, design-led and conversion lead e-commerce websites, preferably in fashion, lifestyle, kidswear, or premium consumer brands
• Strong aesthetic judgment aligned with premium fashion website standards
• Demonstrable experience managing e-commerce marketplaces and product catalogues
• Practical knowledge of Shopee, Lazada, and TikTok Shop platforms
• Proficiency in Meta Ads Manager including campaign setup, Pixel/Conversions API, catalogues, retargeting, and optimization
• Understanding of SEO, CRO, analytics, and the overall e-commerce customer journey
• Up-to-date knowledge of AI, automation, and emerging Shopify/e-commerce tools
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving and ownership
