Roles & Responsibilities
Quoting clients and other stakeholders on painting job costs.
Discussing project plans, colour schemes, and finishing requirements with relevant stakeholders and clients.
Examining and preparing surfaces for painting.
Selecting the appropriate paints, primers, and materials for different surfaces and sites.
Protecting floors, furniture, fixtures, and other non-painting surfaces with appropriate coverings.
Applying primers, undercoats, paints, varnishes, and other finishes to interior and exterior surfaces.
Fixing, repairing, and touching up previous painting work when necessary.
Reporting any structural defects, damaged surfaces, or other issues to the site foreman.
Mixing and preparing paints, primers, fillers, and other coatings to the required specifications.
Consulting with other contractors to ensure painting work is coordinated effectively and project deadlines are met timeously.
