Business Analyst

Key Responsibilities

• Gather business requirements from stakeholders across retail, corporate, or investment banking sectors.
• Translate complex financial processes into clear technical specifications, user stories, and functional workflows.
• Map "as-is" and "to-be" workflows to identify process bottlenecks and improve core banking operations.
• Ensure all technical solutions align with local and global financial regulations, compliance laws, and risk frameworks.
• Collaborate closely with IT developers and system architects to ensure software solutions meet business goals.
• Define test cases and coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with business users before system deployment.
• Analyze large banking datasets using SQL or data visualization tools to support strategic decision-making.
• Manage project scopes and change requests, acting as the primary link between the business side and tech teams.

💡 Skills and Qualifications

• Domain Expertise: Deep understanding of banking operations, such as credit lending, payments, wealth management, trade finance, or anti-money laundering (AML).
• Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in SQL, data mapping, Microsoft Visio, and agile tools like Jira or Confluence.
• Methodologies: Proven experience working in Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall project frameworks.
• Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving skills, strong stakeholder management, and clear communication abilities.
