Data Center Facilities Manager

Our client is a multinational company in the Facilities Management industry. Due to their current expansion plan, they are looking for a Data Center Facilities Manager to join their team, in hopes of developing the current high performing team. They are located in the Central – easily accessible.

The Data Center Facilities Manager's responsibility is:

• Lead and oversee day-to-day data centre site operations, including M&E systems and critical facilities.
• Manage preventative and reactive maintenance programs to ensure high equipment availability and uptime.
• Lead, develop and coordinate multi-skilled engineering teams, technicians and appointed vendors.
• Monitor site KPIs, operational performance and uptime requirements against agreed standards.
• Oversee planned and reactive maintenance activities through the CMMS platform and within budget.
• Act as the escalation point for critical failures, coordinating troubleshooting, rectification and incident reporting.
• Manage specialist contractors and vendors, ensuring work quality, safety, compliance and contractual requirements.
• Support site reviews, operational meetings, risk assessments, change control and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure maintenance documentation, asset information and statutory compliance records are properly maintained.

Requirement

• Diploma/Degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Engineering-related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in M&E operations within a Tier III or equivalent Data Centre / Critical Facility.
• Strong problem-solving, communication and stakeholder management skills, with relevant Data Centre certifications preferred.
