Horizontal Directional Drilling

1. Assist Site Manager in ensuring all construction works involving utilities engineering, laying of power cable, telecom & CATV installation are carried out to meet principal/clients’ requirement and are in compliance with all government regulations and procedures.

2. Assist Site Manager to plan, organize and oversee all construction activities at all phases of the construction including coordinating and mobilization of workforce, equipment and materials necessary for project.

3. Constantly monitor the work progress by conducting regular checks on job sites to ensure works are carried out in accordance with approved plans, company’s quality standard, customers’ requirements and all relevant government and industry code of practices/standards.

4. Supervise and carry out construction work assigned including trenching, pipe laying, cable pulling, cable termination, cable jointing, back filling and temporary road reinstatement.

5. Chart out the daily work plan including placement of road signs, temporary traffic control and coordinate with the logistic and procurement department for order of materials and equipment needed for the job.

6. Supervise, monitor and control project to ensure compliance with specification and drawing.

7. Ensure work site safety, cleanliness of work site, worker safety, health and welfare at all times.

8. Take prompt and decisive actions in all site emergencies/mishaps or incidents and keep superior posted of follow-up actions.

9. Take all necessary precaution to prevent damages to private or public properties especially all underground services.
