Facilities Management Specialist*Govt

Take ownership of a diverse portfolio of operational and tenanted properties. This is more than a routine maintenance role—you will shape how facilities are operated, improved and made more sustainable, while managing vendors, contracts, budgets and development projects.

• Monday to Friday, Office Hour
• Govt Project Opportunity
• 12 months contract, renewable
• Up to $4,100 per month

What You’ll Be Doing

• Ensure properties, facilities and supporting infrastructure operate smoothly and are maintained to a high standard
• Lead vendors, contractors and operators across maintenance, cleaning, landscaping and pest-control services
• Monitor service standards, contract performance and the timely completion of works
• Coordinate retrofitting, upgrading and infrastructure development projects
• Plan facilities budgets and work with Procurement on tenders and contract awards
• Review the operational and maintenance needs of new facilities during the planning and design stages
• Drive green initiatives involving energy efficiency, renewable energy and sustainable facilities management
• Support environmental, workplace safety and health policies
• Conduct risk assessments and identify potential facilities-related hazards
• Work closely with internal stakeholders, public agencies and external partners on property, safety and operational matters

What We’re Looking For

• Degree in Facilities Management, Project Management, Engineering or a related discipline
• Able to communicate confidently and manage different stakeholders
