QA Engineer

We are looking for a Manual Tester with experience in software testing and hands-on exposure to Jira and Confluence. The successful candidate will support testing activities across the software development lifecycle and work closely with development, business and project teams to ensure quality software delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform functional, regression, integration and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Create and execute test cases and test scenarios based on business and functional requirements.
• Identify, document and track defects using Jira.
• Support test execution and issue management through Jira.
• Maintain test documentation and project-related information using Confluence.
• Report defects clearly with appropriate supporting information and follow up on their resolution.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes.
• Collaborate with developers, business users and other stakeholders to investigate and resolve testing issues.
• Support end-to-end testing activities to ensure software meets quality and business requirements.

Requirements

• 2–5 years of experience in Manual Software Testing.
• Experience in functional, regression, integration and UAT testing.
• Hands-on experience with Jira for defect tracking and issue management.
• Experience using Confluence for test documentation and project collaboration.
• Experience creating and executing test cases and test scenarios.
• Good understanding of the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and stakeholder coordination skills.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to software quality.
