Responsibilities

• Generate patient meal orders and meal summaries
• Handle enquiries and complaints on patient meals
• Monitor and record control points such as reheating of food trolley, chiller & freezer temperature, and report on deviations for immediate corrective action
• Report repair / maintenance needs to One Response Centre (ORC)
• Carry out Checker function by cross-checking assembled meals and mealorder chit before loading into food trolley
• Ensure standards related to food hygiene, critical control point, Halal and workplace safety are adhered strictly
• Report workplace safety, food safety and other operations issue tosupervisor timely
• Co-ordinate and generate all catering orders.
• Ensure work area is cleaned up after each dishing / assembly session
• Follow all instructions given by Supervisor

Requirements:

• Minimum GCE ‘N’ Level / ‘O’ Level / Nitec. Diploma holder will have an added advantage
• 5-7 years of related experience at a supervisory level, preferably in hospital, upscale hotel, restaurant, or high volume food service facility. Basic Food Hygiene certified
• Proficient in spoken English. Fluency in a second language will be an advantage
• Basic Microsoft Office skills, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Knowledgein Electronic Meal Ordering System will be added advantage
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Must be able to work in cold room environment between 4 - 18°C
• Physically fit and strong
