⇒ Role Summary
The Client is Asia’s leading financial services group, known for its digital innovation and customer-centric approach. In this role, you will lead the end-to-end implementation of a new card program. You will act as the primary project manager, coordinating across internal teams, external partners, and end clients to ensure successful delivery. The position requires strong project management expertise, a proactive mindset, and the ability to drive outcomes in a fast-paced banking environment.
⇒ Main Responsibilities
- Manage the full lifecycle of the new card program implementation under IBG, from scoping and definition through to execution and delivery.
- Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders across business, technology, operations, risk, compliance, and other functions to define project scope, deliverables, and success criteria.
- Work with external partners on joint development and implementation activities, ensuring alignment on requirements, timelines, and quality standards.
- Proactively engage end-clients with timely updates, advice, and issue resolution throughout the project.
- Develop clear statements of work, detailed project plans, delivery timelines, and milestone tracking mechanisms.
- Identify potential bottlenecks or risks early and propose creative, practical solutions to mitigate delays.
- Drive a strong sense of ownership and accountability to achieve on-time, high-quality program implementation.
- Facilitate regular status reporting, governance meetings, and stakeholder communications.
⇒ Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, or a related field. Diploma holders with PMP certification will also be considered.
- 3–5 years of project/program management experience, preferably in a bank, financial institution, or
- payments/card industry.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a demonstrated sense of ownership and initiative.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with both internal teams and external partners/clients.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams while independently driving deliverables.
- Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, MS Project, or similar).
- PMP or equivalent certification is an advantage.
- Prior experience in card program implementation, payments, or institutional banking products is highly desirable.
