Site Supervisor

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Site Supervisor with experience in rebar scheduling and site coordination to oversee rebar cutting and preparation activities at the construction site. The candidate will be responsible for coordinating with site teams, updating rebar shop drawings, interpreting reinforcement designs and ensuring that rebar works are carried out according to project requirements and schedules.

Job Responsibilities

• Update and revise rebar shop drawings using AutoCAD based on project and site requirements.
• Review reinforcement drawings and coordinate rebar cutting and preparation requirements.
• Coordinate with site teams on rebar delivery dates, work progress and installation requirements.
• Interpret complex reinforcement designs and resolve discrepancies between drawings and actual site conditions.
• Coordinate with Site Engineers, project teams and rebar workers to ensure rebar preparation works are carried out according to project requirements.
• Monitor rebar cutting and preparation activities to ensure the correct sizes, lengths, shapes and quantities are prepared.
• Plan and coordinate rebar requirements according to the construction schedule and site progress.
• Identify material shortages, drawing discrepancies or site issues and report them to the relevant project personnel for resolution.
• Monitor rebar usage and assist in minimising material wastage through proper planning and cutting arrangements.
• Maintain proper records of rebar drawings, cutting requirements and work progress.
• Ensure rebar-related activities comply with project specifications, site safety requirements and company procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Project Manager or Site Management.

Job Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in construction site supervision, preferably with experience in rebar works.
• Experience in rebar scheduling, cutting and preparation will be an advantage.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and able to update and revise rebar shop drawings.
• Able to read and interpret structural and reinforcement drawings.
• Good understanding of rebar sizes, lengths, shapes and site installation requirements.
• Good coordination and communication skills with site teams and workers.
• Able to identify and resolve drawing or site discrepancies.
• Able to work independently and manage multiple site requirements.
• Relevant Singapore construction experience will be an advantage.
• Willing to work in a construction site environment.
