About the role

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Preschool Centre Leader to lead the operations, curriculum quality, and team development of our brand-new childcare centre.

The successful candidate will provide strong leadership, uphold high standards of care and education, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and organisational policies.

Location: Geylang Bahru /Kallang
Date of Commencement: November / December 2026

Key responsibilities

• Lead and oversee the centre's daily operations, administration and manpower planning.

• Ensure compliance with all applicable ECDA requirements, licensing regulations, health and safety standards, and organisational policies.

• Drive the planning, implementation and review of high-quality curriculum and teaching practices.

• Guide, coach and mentor educators to strengthen their professional competencies and classroom practices.

• Conduct regular classroom observations and provide constructive feedback to educators.

• Build a collaborative, accountable and supportive working culture within the centre.

• Manage staff performance, attendance, deployment and professional development.

• Maintain strong relationships with parents and address enquiries or concerns professionally and promptly.

• Monitor enrolment, retention and centre performance while supporting outreach initiatives.

• Oversee centre documentation, audits, records and operational reporting.

Requirements:

• Advanced Diploma in Early Childhood Leadership, or approved alternatives

• Minimum three (3) years of relevant experience in the early childhood sector, preferably in a supervisory or leadership capacity.

• Strong knowledge of preschool operations, curriculum planning and regulatory requirements.

• Proven ability to lead, coach and develop a team of educators.

• Strong communication, interpersonal and stakeholder-management skills.

• Organised, responsible and able to manage multiple operational priorities.

• Demonstrates sound judgement, professionalism and a child-centred leadership approach.

• Experience with SPARK certification and/or the Partner Operator (POP) scheme would be a strong advantage.
