About the role
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Preschool Centre Leader to lead the operations, curriculum quality, and team development of our brand-new childcare centre.
This is an exciting opportunity to be part of the centre’s journey from the start — building a strong team, fostering a positive workplace culture, and creating a warm, nurturing environment for children and families.
The successful candidate will provide strong leadership, uphold high standards of care and education, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and organisational policies.
Location: Geylang Bahru /Kallang
Date of Commencement: November / December 2026
Key responsibilities
Lead and oversee the centre's daily operations, administration and manpower planning.
Ensure compliance with all applicable ECDA requirements, licensing regulations, health and safety standards, and organisational policies.
Drive the planning, implementation and review of high-quality curriculum and teaching practices.
Guide, coach and mentor educators to strengthen their professional competencies and classroom practices.
Conduct regular classroom observations and provide constructive feedback to educators.
Build a collaborative, accountable and supportive working culture within the centre.
Manage staff performance, attendance, deployment and professional development.
Maintain strong relationships with parents and address enquiries or concerns professionally and promptly.
Monitor enrolment, retention and centre performance while supporting outreach initiatives.
Oversee centre documentation, audits, records and operational reporting.
Requirements:
Advanced Diploma in Early Childhood Leadership, or approved alternatives
Minimum three (3) years of relevant experience in the early childhood sector, preferably in a supervisory or leadership capacity.
Strong knowledge of preschool operations, curriculum planning and regulatory requirements.
Proven ability to lead, coach and develop a team of educators.
Strong communication, interpersonal and stakeholder-management skills.
Organised, responsible and able to manage multiple operational priorities.
Demonstrates sound judgement, professionalism and a child-centred leadership approach.
Experience with SPARK certification and/or the Partner Operator (POP) scheme would be a strong advantage.
