Senior Manager, HR & Corporate Affairs (Japanese MNC / Trading)

Job Description
Lead and support the full spectrum of HR, office administration, and corporate affairs functions for Singapore and overseas operations.
Manage recruitment, onboarding, compensation and benefits, employee engagement, performance management, training, HR records, work passes, and statutory HR matters.
Oversee daily office operations, administrative processes, staff expenses, accounts payable/receivable, company facilities, events, and workplace safety and health matters.
Manage corporate affairs, including audits, corporate compliance, Board matters, government-related matters, banking administration, and internal controls.
Support J-SOX and governance requirements, ensuring compliance with company policies and applicable statutory requirements.
Provide HR, administrative, and operational support to overseas offices and coordinate with regional stakeholders on relevant matters.
Maintain HR systems, company intranet, administrative records, and corporate service arrangements.
Support management and cross-functional projects, including ad-hoc assignments and company initiatives as required.
Job Requirements
Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline.
Minimum 15 years of relevant experience in HR, administration, corporate affairs, office management, or related functions.
Strong knowledge of HR operations, administration, corporate compliance, and internal controls.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Strong stakeholder management, interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
Ability to manage confidential and sensitive information with professionalism, integrity, and discretion.
Strong numerical and analytical skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Able to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and collaborate effectively across functions and locations.
Experience in trading, or energy-related business will be an advantage.
