Job Summary

You will manage structural construction activities by liaising with clients and subcontractors, ensuring regulatory compliance, monitoring progress, conducting inspections, and coordinating with trade teams to deliver quality projects on time.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with client representatives and subcontractors on-site to ensure smooth communication and project alignment
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and statutory requirements including BCA, NEA, PUB, and FSSD standards
• Attend and contribute to consultant, progress, technical coordination, and other project meetings
• Coordinate the handover of completed works to clients after necessary rectifications
• Monitor daily progress of structural works to maintain project timelines and quality
• Conduct inspections and verify subcontractors’ work performance against project standards
• Assist in valuing work and resolving discrepancies affecting project quality during construction
• Ensure all teams use updated drawings, including shop drawings, for structural construction accuracy
• Maintain proper documentation control to support Project Manager and Quantity Surveyor in contractual claims
• Coordinate with relevant trade coordinators such as Architectural and MEP teams for integrated project delivery
• Prepare and submit progress reports to keep stakeholders informed
• Identify and resolve structural work discrepancies in consultation with the Project Manager
• Supervise Construction Coordinators to ensure effective site operations
• Assist in tender preparation by providing technical input and documentation

Required competencies and certifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering recognized by the Professional Engineers Board (PEB)
• Minimum 2 years of work experience in the construction industry
