Job Overview

We are looking for a highly organised and proactive Sales Coordinator to support the commercial team in managing customer enquiries, quotations, orders, and day-to-day sales activities.

The successful candidate will work closely with the Sales, Technical, Service, Procurement, Logistics, and Finance teams to ensure customer requirements are handled efficiently and orders are delivered smoothly.

Experience within the marine, shipping, offshore, engineering, or industrial products and services industry will be an advantage.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day administrative and coordination support to the sales team.
• Handle customer enquiries and coordinate with internal teams to obtain the necessary technical and commercial information.
• Prepare and issue quotations, proposals, purchase orders, and sales documentation.
• Follow up on quotations, customer enquiries, and pending orders.
• Process sales orders and coordinate with operations, procurement, warehouse, and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery.
• Coordinate delivery of marine products, spare parts, equipment, and services to customers, vessels, and shipyards.
• Maintain accurate records of customer information, quotations, orders, and sales activities.
• Monitor order status and provide customers with regular updates.
• Coordinate with suppliers and internal departments on product availability, pricing, lead times, and delivery schedules.
• Assist the sales team in preparing sales reports, presentations, and pipeline updates.
• Support the preparation of tenders and commercial proposals where required.
• Coordinate customer meetings, service appointments, vessel visits, and other sales-related activities.
• Assist with invoicing and payment follow-ups in coordination with the Finance team.
• Maintain good relationships with existing customers and ensure a high level of customer service.
• Identify customer requirements and highlight potential upselling or cross-selling opportunities to the sales team.
• Support the sales team with market research and identification of potential customers.
• Ensure all sales and customer documentation is properly maintained and updated.

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Maritime Studies, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 2–5 years of experience in sales coordination, sales administration, customer service, or commercial support.
• Experience in the marine, shipping, offshore, engineering, or industrial products industry is highly advantageous.
• Strong organisational and coordination skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good command of written and spoken English.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook.
• Detail-oriented with strong follow-up skills.
• Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Customer-focused, proactive, and willing to learn.
• Comfortable communicating with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
