Job Role & Responsibilities

  • Process of monthly payroll by update and consolidate all payroll related information with relevant documents i.e. overtime timesheets, salary adjustment letters, referral incentive form, foreign workers levy etc in Unit4 Software System followed by submitting to next level for checking and approval by 3rd week of the month.
  • Responsible to maintain and update monthly Payroll Software Database to facilitate and meet all key HR metrics and indicators such as payroll reports, journals, attrition reports and management reports etc.
  • Administer employee’s database and ensure exist headcount and information are accurate by cross-check the staff listing in Unit4 Software System with manpower planning placement table prior starting of payroll cycle on 16th of the month.
  • Collaborate with Assistant HR Manager for end-of-month payroll closing to reconcile the payout transaction discrepancies if any.
  • Responsible to monitor and submit of Government’s salary support grant with supporting document of pay statistic, m/s excel pay template declaration from NIEC and CPF form 90 by every 3-4 months according to the course intake schedule provided.
  • Participate for MoM survey submission on quarterly basis through online.
  • Coordinate submission of various government claim types – NSman make-up pay claim, Government-Paid leave schemes through NS portal and/or profamily online portal.
  • Process of SSG grant submission in SkillsConnect Portal upon received of Training Requisition Form from respective department.
  • Involve in annual audit of all relevant payroll and employee database.
  • Remain informed at all times of new MoM, Statutory Acts & legislations which may affect employees’ benefits and compensation, and which might need reporting to management.
  • Support in staff related notice in lieu claim matters including reports to TAFEP/Small Claims Tribunal. Also ensuring all pending and outstanding claims must be duly recorded, tracked and closed
  • Any other ad hoc duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

  • Candidate must possess at least a Diploma in HRM / HRD / Business Administration.
  • Possess sound working knowledge of HRIS with an excellent grasp of Singapore labor laws.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and able to communicate with employees of all levels including ancillary staff.
  • Proven ability to work independently in a multi-tasking and fast paced environment, with strong work ethics and capacity for hard work
  • A team player who enjoys interacting with people from all levels and with a “putting the customers’ first” mindset
