MOTOR VEHICLE MECHANIC (AUTOMOBILE)

Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Motor Vehicle Mechanic (Automobile) to perform diagnostics, maintenance, servicing, and repair of vehicles. The candidate must have strong troubleshooting skills and hands-on experience with automotive systems.

Responsibilities:

• Perform preventive maintenance and servicing of motor vehicles
• Perform vehicle inspections and diagnostic checks to identify mechanical and electronic issues
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults using diagnostic equipment
• Repair and maintain vehicles, engine overhaul, transmission repair, replacement of components/parts, including automotive electronic systems, and air-conditioning systems
• Troubleshoot and rectify vehicle defects to ensure safe and reliable operation
• Respond to customer concerns and requests regarding vehicle-related issues with clear communication
• Conduct vehicle inspections and testing
• Ensure all repair work meets safety and quality standards
• Keep workshop clean and follow workplace safety procedures
• Apply knowledge of car maintenance across different car makes, with emphasis on continental brands
• Deliver high-quality work independently and reliably
• Carry out other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Minimum 5-8 years of working experience as an automobile mechanic
• Strong knowledge of automotive mechanical and electrical systems
• Ability to use vehicle diagnostic tools and equipment
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Physically fit and responsible
• Team player with high level of initiative and drive
• Possess a valid Class 3 driving license (preferably)
• Service-oriented mindset
• Able to start work immediately

Employment Type:

• Full Time

Salary:

• SGD 2,500 – SGD 3,500 per month
• (depending on experience and qualifications)

Working Hours:

• Monday to Friday
• 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM
• Saturday
• 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM

Work Location:

• Singapore (Pioneer / Soon Lee Street)
