About this job

Job Responsibilities:


  • Manage full-set accounting and month-end/year-end closing activities.
  • Prepare financial statements and reporting in accordance with Singapore Financial Reporting Standards and statutory requirements.
  • Review journal entries, balance-sheet reconciliations, supporting schedules and accounting matters.
  • Assess accounting treatments and resolve closing and reporting issues.
  • Manage Singapore GST, corporate income tax, withholding tax and other statutory compliance matters.
  • Coordinate annual statutory audits and liaise with auditors, tax agents, corporate secretarial providers and relevant authorities.
  • Maintain effective internal controls and support improvements in financial governance and reporting accuracy.
  • Prepare management reports, financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting and cash-flow monitoring.
  • Provide financial insights to support management and business decisions.
  • Collaborate with business units, regional stakeholders and cross-functional teams on finance matters.
  • Participate in SAP/ERP implementation, migration, enhancement and optimization projects, including UAT, data validation, reconciliation and cutover activities.
  • Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, controls, reporting, automation and system utilization.


Job Requirements:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline or professional accounting qualification such as ACCA, CPA or CA.
  • With 5 - 8 years of relevant accounting and finance experience.
  • Strong hands-on experience in full-set accounting, financial closing, reporting, reconciliations and statutory compliance.
  • Good knowledge of Singapore Financial Reporting Standards, accounting practices and tax requirements.
  • Hands-on SAP experience in accounting, closing, reconciliation or financial reporting.
  • Strong budgeting, forecasting, cash-flow and variance-analysis experience.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office skills.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and accounting judgement skills.
  • Able to work independently and manage multiple priorities with limited supervision.
  • Good communication and stakeholder-management skills.
