Job Summary
Join Viv’s Schoolhouse as an L2 English Preschool Teacher to design and deliver age-appropriate learning experiences that support children’s holistic development in a nurturing, collaborative environment.
Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate learning experiences aligned with the centre’s curriculum to promote children’s cognitive, language, social-emotional, and physical development
- Observe, document, and assess children’s learning progress to inform teaching strategies and support individual growth
- Create and maintain a safe, nurturing, and positive classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning
- Build and sustain positive relationships with children and families through professional communication about children’s development
- Collaborate effectively with fellow educators to contribute to a supportive and cohesive teaching team
- Participate actively in school events, celebrations, excursions, and enrichment programmes to enhance children’s learning experiences
- Maintain accurate classroom documentation and records in compliance with centre policies
- Engage in ongoing professional development to continuously improve teaching practices and educational outcomes
Required competencies and certifications
- ECDA L2 English Language (EL) certification or equivalent qualification recognised by ECDA
- Relevant Diploma in Early Childhood Care and Education – Teaching, or equivalent recognised qualification
- Fulfil ECDA requirements for an L2 English preschool educator
- Proficient command of spoken and written English
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Relevant preschool teaching experience
- Demonstrated passion, patience, and nurturing approach when working with young children
- Strong communication and classroom management skills
- Responsible, positive attitude with ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Willingness to learn and grow professionally

Salary & Benefits
- Salary: S$3,200–S$3,800 per month, commensurate with qualifications and relevant experience
