Volunteer Management Executive (VWO | 1 year contract) #HJO

Job Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end volunteer lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, orientation, training, deployment and feedback collection.
• Match volunteers to suitable programmes and activities based on their skills, interests and organisational needs.
• Develop and implement volunteer engagement and retention initiatives to maintain strong participation and commitment.
• Coordinate volunteer appreciation events, recognition programmes and regular engagement activities.
• Maintain effective communication with volunteers and respond promptly to volunteer enquiries and concerns.
• Plan, coordinate and support community events, outreach programmes and preventive healthcare initiatives.
• Support activities involving seniors and vulnerable members of the community.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with volunteers, community partners and other external stakeholders.
• Identify and engage potential new sources of volunteers through community partnerships and outreach efforts.
• Provide administrative and operational support for volunteer management activities.
• Perform other duties and projects as assigned.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Social Sciences, Community Development, Business Administration, Communications or a related discipline.
• Relevant experience in volunteer management, community engagement, social services, events, programme coordination or stakeholder management will be an advantage.
• Comfortable working with volunteers, seniors, community partners and vulnerable groups.
• Good planning and coordination skills with experience supporting events or community programmes.
• Good team player who is also able to work independently.
